About Me
Hi there. I’m Jamie, an Embodiment Coach and Somatic Breathwork Facilitator.
I am from the Pacific Northwest, on the ancestral and unceded lands of the Indigenous peoples, including the Coast Salish, Duwamish, Suquamish, Snohomish, Lummi, Makah, Quinault, Yakama, Puyallup, Nisqually, Spokane, Kalispel, Cowlitz, Colville, Muckleshoot, Skokomish, Swinomish, Stillaguamish, Tulalip, and many others. I strive to honor their cultural heritage, deep wisdom, and ongoing relationship with the land that continues to sustain us. I am committed to learning from and supporting the Indigenous communities whose stewardship of these lands goes back thousands of years.
My life’s work centers around supporting clients in restoring and re-patterning their relationships with themselves, others, and the world—both in-person and virtually. For more than a decade, I have made it my mission to help people from around the globe dive deeper into their purpose, embrace their unique gifts, and, most importantly, learn to love themselves and others along the way.
My educational journey resembles a river more than a straight line, filled with twists and turns that have enriched my practice. My studies and experiences encompass Somatic Psychology, Internal Family Systems (Parts Work), Non-Violent Communication, breathwork, various movement practices including martial arts, mindfulness and meditation, Structural Integration and other forms of massage therapy, Ancestral and Indigenous Wisdom, outdoor education, wilderness and leadership training, Rights of Passage Work, Grief Work, natural building, and more. I’ve still got a long way to go and so much more to learn! I’m deeply committed to lifelong growth and continue to weave these diverse threads into my coaching approach.
And yeah, I’m a person who exists outside of coaching too! When I’m not in session, you might find me exploring the wilderness, hiking, or cold plunging in wild waters (it’s a longtime favorite!). I enjoy a good game of chess or quality moments with the people I love. While I might enjoy the occasional festival, I am blessed with an amazing community and prefer smaller more intimate gatherings filled with laughter and the people I love and have grown roots with.
Currently, my girlfriend Regan and I are traveling the world, working remotely, and embracing life’s adventures. We love getting lost in conversation, taking long walks, engaging in our intuitive movement practice, reading, writing, foraging, crafting delicious meals, and being just a little ridiculous—because why not?
If what I am sharing resonates with you, I hope to meet you and answer any questions you may have. Together, we’ll explore strategies and practices tailored to your individual needs, equipping you to regulate your nervous system, reduce stress and anxiety, set healthy boundaries, communicate consciously, and navigate conflict with clarity. Ultimately, we’ll work towards a joyful, fulfilling life while actualizing your dreams.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, seeking deeper connection, or ready to elevate your life and relationships, I’m here to help you navigate the path with clarity, compassion, and presence. If I can’t help you, or if there’s another option that makes more sense, I promise I’ll point you in the best direction I can. Cool?
P.S.: While I primarily work one-on-one with adults, I also enjoy collaborating with other facilitators to offer group programs, workshops, and retreats. I’m passionate about supporting kids, teens, couples, families, and men’s work. Last year, I founded and led The Embodied Leadership Program, a social-emotional learning initiative for at-risk youth in public schools in Washington. This past summer, I co-directed a sleepaway wilderness camp in Vermont, overseeing a team of over 30 employees and about 100 kids each week.
I have exciting projects in the pipeline, including collaborations on a couple three-month online programs, workshops, retreats, and a large Men’s Gathering this summer in the PNW that’s going to be incredible. Stay tuned for more details on these offerings!
If you’re interested in a retreat for yourself, your friends, or your business, feel free to reach out via email and share your vision. I love creating customized experiences that meet the unique needs and desires of different groups.
